Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)/RDA with Scaling Module – Full-Time.
Location: Calgary, AB.
Employment Type: Full-Time.
Compensation: $42–$70 per hour (based on role, experience, and qualifications).
Work Setting: In-person.
About the Practice:
We are a patient-focused dental practice committed to delivering exceptional care in a supportive, collaborative, and professional environment. Our team values compassion, clinical excellence, and ongoing learning. We are currently seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) or an RDA with an approved Scaling Module to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient screenings and comprehensive oral health assessment.
- Take and record medical and dental histories, including vital signs.
- Perform preventive dental procedures such as:
- Scaling and root planing.
- Polishing and gum stimulation.
- Fluoride and sealant applications.
- Take dental impressions and dental X-rays in accordance with safety standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and nutrition.
- Collaborate with dentists on treatment planning and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software.
- Assist with restorative and orthodontic procedures as directed.
- Supervise or support dental assistants in clinical duties when required.
- Participate in community or school-based oral health initiatives, if applicable.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing or.
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with an approved Scaling Module, licensed in Alberta.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Availability to work at least one weekend day per week.
