Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) – Full Time
Location: Calgary, AB
Work Setting: In-person (no remote work)

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental examinations and assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
- Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Prepare dental materials, including fillings, impression materials, and compounds
- Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with safety standards
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns; apply fluoride and dental sealants
- Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts and assist with treatment planning
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Administrative & Clerical Duties:
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Prepare invoices and process payments
- Record dental procedures performed
- Order dental and office supplies
Intra-Oral Duties (as permitted):
- Remove sutures and take vital signs
- Apply topical anesthetics, desensitizing, and anti-cariogenic agents
- Perform coronal whitening
- Fabricate, place, and remove temporary crowns and restorations
- Apply and remove rubber dams
- Conduct pulp vitality testing, periodontal screening, and charting
Qualifications:
- Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) with current provincial licensing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience with dental software is an asset
