Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) – Full-Time.
Location: Calgary, AB.
Work Setting: In-person (no remote work).

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) who is passionate about patient care and eager to grow with our practice. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and assist the dentist during procedures and treatments.
  • Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare dental materials, including fillings, impression materials, and compounds.
  • Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Polish teeth and clinical crowns; apply fluoride and dental sealants.
  • Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts and assist with treatment planning.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.

Administrative & Clerical Duties:
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
  • Prepare invoices and process payments.
  • Record dental procedures performed accurately.
  • Order dental and office supplies as needed.

Intra-Oral Duties (as permitted):
  • Remove sutures and take vital signs.
  • Apply topical anesthetics, desensitizing, and anti-cariogenic agents.
  • Perform coronal whitening.
  • Fabricate, place, and remove temporary crowns and restorations.
  • Apply and remove rubber dams.
  • Conduct pulp vitality testing, periodontal screening, and charting.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) with current provincial licensing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with dental software is an asset.
